In 2017 when I was 90, I spent 6 months and 39 flights learning to glide with the Wellington Gliding Club at Greytown. It was exhilarating when corkscrewing the glider up in the lift below a cloud and also when silently riding a wave at altitude above the Wairarapa, but the senior moments were when learning to take the glider out of a spin or spiral dive. These two potentially catastrophic situations required different techniques!

Wow you certainly are a life long learner! Great achievement. My first glide was in Ohakune on a tow truck lift and that was exhilarating enough for me!
